01 / THE ARTIST
Music as an act of listening.
For cellist Joseph Kuipers, performance begins with a search for the expressive possibilities of sound. Drawn to music of intimacy, intensity, and reflection, his work moves between familiar masterpieces, overlooked repertoire, and unexpected collaborations—guided by the belief that music is most meaningful when it creates a genuine connection between performer and listener.
