Songs of the Silk Road

CELLO / GUZHENG

For centuries, the Silk Road connected distant cultures through the exchange of ideas, traditions, and artistic expression.

Songs of the Silk Road brings together the cello and guzheng, two instruments shaped by different musical histories, yet united by their capacity for lyricism and expression.

Moving between Eastern and Western traditions, the program explores the spaces where musical languages meet, where familiar melodies take on new colors, and where listening becomes an encounter with another world.
